Andrew Evans is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of AGL Resources.  Mr. Evans directs finance, accounting and financial reporting activities for all AGL Resources businesses, as well as investor relations and the company's strategic planning functions.   AGL is a diversified utility holding company that operates regulated utilities, a retail marketing company, a wholesale commodity trading business, and a gas storage operation and construction company.

Mr. Evans came to AGL Resources from Mirant Corporation (formerly Southern Energy, Inc.) where he served in a variety of finance functions, including treasurer of its commodity trading business.  He also served as vice president and treasurer for Mirant Americas, where he was responsible for nearly $3 billion in capital markets and syndicated bank financing, and was involved in Mirant's public offering.
