The Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts (ASFA) appreciates and respects the privacy of all members and visitors and has developed this Privacy Policy, to the extent possible, to uphold the legal rights of all individuals who use this site. As a matter of standing policy, (except where generally permitted through membership and/or other authorized agreements) the ASFA does not sell member or visitor information and will, to the best of its abilities, limit the sharing of any accumulated personal data to select business partners, affiliates, organizations, government officials, vendors and/or third parties who are authorized to act on its behalf and/or on behalf of its members and visitors.

Through the application process and by way of membership in both the CFA Institute and the ASFA, individuals provide certain personal information to our organizations and thereby consent to its use by CFA Institute and the ASFA in society activities, business, publications, and related services. In order to monitor site traffic and assess its current standards and services the ASFA may utilize “cookies” or similar data analysis gathering techniques. The ASFA may also periodically request other personal data in order to initiate and maintain member relationships and to provide for supplemental products or services specifically tailored to meet members’ and visitors’ ongoing needs. Furthermore, members and certain authorized persons may be provided password-protected access to “nonpublic” areas of the ASFA web site.

At any time, members and/or visitors may “opt-out” of permitting the ASFA to store and share personal information with outside firms, vendors or third parties by sending an e-mail message to: admin@atlantasfa.org. It is understood that by placing such restrictions on the society, the ASFA’s ability to conduct normal business may be limited or impaired. Furthermore, such constraints may cause the organization to incur considerable and unbudgeted expense for maintaining separate files, storage, and security systems.

The ASFA reserves the right to change this statement at any time by posting revisions on the official ASFA Internet Site. Although the ASFA will make every attempt to prevent the unauthorized use of member or visitor data, there can be no guarantees.
